How can I see my site listing come up on Google or Yahoo?
Your marketing campaign consists of several hundred keywords specifically designed to attract visitors interested in real estate in your area. These keywords appear only until your daily quota of visitors has been reached. Because this quota can be reached in a matter of minutes or hours, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to find yourself in the search listings using any given keyphrase.



Why is my website not personalized?
Your website is built for the purpose of gathering new contacts. Lead websites are most effective when they have a standard design and broad-based appeal. Potential clients are more likely to leave contact information at this type of site.



How can I add a logo or photo to my website?
Email your logo/photo to support@promoteronline.com. Your company logo will appear in the upper-left corner of your website with your contact information, while your personal image will appear in the About Us section, where visitors can learn more about you and your business. (See the answer to question four.)



How do I make changes to my site?
As part of the customization process, customers are able to give us several pieces of information to help visitors get the information they need to pick you as their primary real estate vendor. The following areas can be customized by responding to support@promoteronline.com:
- About Us profile – This is an area of the website for customers to get to know you better. Generally, 2-3 paragraphs is a good length.
- About Us picture – A personal image of you, which allows visitors to put a face to the information you provide in your profile.
- Company logo picture – Your company or broker’s logo. The maximum height is 95 pixels, maximum width is 195 pixels. We will scale the logo down as needed to keep the remaining contact information within the frame provided.
- Other website link – An opportunity to show off your alternate website.
- MLS link – This is the location of the MLS/IDX site that you want your visitors to go to once they have filled out the form on your website.
- Autoresponder – While PromoterOnline provides a generic autoresponse to all visitors that provide an email address, you can provide a specialized response if you wish.
To make these changes, send your desired text in an email at support@promoteronline.com. Please explain specifically what you would like changed. We will respond to your email within 3 business days updating you on the progress of your request.



What is a “qualified visitor”?
Each Internet user has a unique IP address that can be compared to an online fingerprint. When a person clicks on your website from a search results page, their IP address is recorded. Therefore, multiple clicks from the same IP address will not be counted toward your guaranteed monthly total.



Are visitors and leads the same thing?
No. A visitor is an Internet user who accesses your site after using a search engine. When a visitor leaves contact information on your site, they become a lead.



How often do I receive a site traffic report?
Currently, site traffic reports are not automated. However, if you would like us to send you a traffic report simply send an email to support@promoteronline.com with "TRAFFIC REPORT REQUEST -" and your domain name in the subject line.



Can web users link to the MLS from my site?
Yes. Your MLS service can provide you with the link address. Email this link to us at support@promoteronline.com. We can then insert it in your website. We recommend it appearing in a page accessed only after potential clients enter their contact information. It will be an added incentive to leave their name and address.



How do I change the Title or Description of keyword listings?
Contact us at support@promoteronline.com. We will be happy to advise you on your Title and Description choices and make the changes.



Why have my listings disappeared from Google and/or Yahoo?
Each PromoterOnline Service Package includes a specific number of guaranteed clicks per month. When your keywords receive that number, they no longer appear in the positions. This limit can be reached at any time during the month, due to constantly fluctuating Internet traffic. If you would like to switch to a service package with more guaranteed clicks, contact our sales department at sales@promoteronline.com or call 801-705-9388. If you do not choose to upgrade, they will begin appearing upon renewal of the next month’s service.

How do I cancel my service?
One of the benefits of PromoterOnline service is that you can cancel at any
time within 72 hours of your billing date. To begin the cancellation process,
simply send an email from your registered email address to billing@promoteronline.com.

What is my MLS link?
Generally, there are two links involved in MLS management, the agent link and the public link.
The agent link generally requires a username and/or password known only to the
agent and possibly his/her brokers. This link allows you to submit,edit and
view your MLS listings. You should not give this link out and should not send us
your username/password for your agent link.
The second link is a public link, sometimes called a frameset or visitor's link.
This link should be available to you from either your MLS provider or the IDX vendor
who has created your IDX site. This is the link that we would put on your website.
It would allow potential homebuyers to view your listings without giving them
the ability to edit the listings or view confidential material.
Usually, the MLS provider will only give this public link to the agent.
You can then send the link to us so that we can implement it on your website. In
some cases, the MLS provider will also require your website provider (PromoterOnline)
to sign a frameset link agreement. If this is the case, please have them fax the
agreement to (801)705-9387. We will sign the form and return it to them as quickly as possible.
